My Cat…

I had a cat a few years back… one of the sweetest orange ones. I haven’t seen or been around him in about 3 years now. I went to the puppy store the other day to just look and found the saddest-eyed basset hound(?) (short/big ears/eyes) I wanted to take her home sooooo bad. When I got home, I sat down at my laptop and I noticed a whiteish hair on the touchpad. I picked it up, thinking “oh my god, my hair is going this grey???”, but then saw that it was one of my cat’s hairs. I yelled out “my kitty!!!” Obviously, he had come to “visit”. The hair could have been in the keyboard of the laptop, but it decided to show up then-and move to the touchpad that I use constantly. I believe it was him saying hello.

My sister and I… both consider ourselves the “only child”

There is 11 years difference between my sister and I. I consider myself an only child and one day I asked her if she felt the same about herself and she agreed. By the time my sister was born, I was almost a teen. I was introverted, so I kept to myself pretty much. I left to go to college at 17, so she was only 6 years old. So her memories began around that time. I haven’t heard of anyone else having the same mindset-2 kids feeling like the “only child”. My sister and I are exact opposites. She grew up extroverted. We had opposite childhoods, so it’s understandable.

Lately, we have gotten closer, due to various life events, and I am so grateful for this. I have wanted to hang out with her forever. I think she and I could actually live together! I think it would be a hoot. Maybe she would introduce me to her friends as her “crazy brother”. LOL

There’s Always Been A Spongebob…

I was watching Pee-Wee Herman the other day and I realized that he was Spongebob before Spongebob was born. That got me thinking about the Spongebobs that might have come before. Way before Pee-Wee, Curly from the 3 Stooges was like Spongebob. Were there any in between? Help me out-Always happy, kind of naive… hmmm… Scooby Doo? Astro? I would like to put a timeline up to show the evolution. Any help?

Patti LaBelle

How can I explain the effect that Patti LaBelle’s voice has on me?

Hmm…

I once saw an interview with Neneh Cherry and she explained that singing is something that flows through you-spiritually. That’s why sometimes you have the best voice and sometimes you don’t. Patti LaBelle is another story, though. I believe that hers is actually the voice of God. When she opens her mouth, my spine is ripped away. I have chills running all over. I am moved to tears. I found this performance on youtube and I love this song… The significance of this particular song is that she sang this song at her mother’s funeral. It takes on a whole new meaning once you know that. Her mother and her sisters have all died from cancer, so Patti expected to perish from the same thing, so she’s tried to live healthy. I think one of the reasons that she is still here is to provide people like me with the knowledge that there *is* something out there that’s bigger than all of us. We don’t have to think it’s the same thing or named the same or even practice the same religion. As long as God keeps speaking through Patti, we know we’re ok.

New Weird Cigarette… Eclipse made by RJR

I just tried a new cigarette called Eclipse. (regular and menthol-CVS-dark blue or green box-made by RJR)

When I opened the pack, it had instructions on how to light it. I thought “that’s weird-are they marketing this to kids?” I took one out and it said to light it like a cigar-steady fire and four long puffs. The first thing I noticed was no smoke coming off the cigarette itself, just when I puffed. And there was a LOT of smoke in my mouth. But no secondhand smoke!

Also, the tip is lit and burning, but it doesn’t burn down. You don’t even have to “flick” the ashes off. You can hold this in your mouth and there’s no smoke from the tip to get in your eyes or smoke up a room.

You can see the inside of the cigarette burning, through a hole in the middle, but the paper doesn’t burn.

The paper inside says there’s no odor, so it doesn’t smell up your house, hair or clothes.

I lit one at the same time someone else lit his and it lasted exactly as long. I could tell it was going out by less smoke coming out when I puffed.

It works by heating the tobacco, rather than burning it. The filter stays cool, but the rest of the cigarette was very warm.

Try this!

Huawei M750 MetroPCS phone-no drivers!

I just got a new phone-a Huawei M750 phone from MetroPCS and it came with a USB cable, but no drivers, no software, no indication for usage with Windows… If you’re looking at buying this phone, be informed that it doesn’t work with Windows.

I found some drivers on Huawei’s site, but it still doesn’t function with MetroPCS’ phone. Tech support at MetroPCS told me that they don’t have the drivers, and were not interested in trying to find them.

Update:

Still no drivers, no help… and the web browsing on this phone is extremely limited. Don’t expect to do anything more than directions on mapquest. Sites won’t open because the phone says that it’s too big. DO NOT get this phone if you want to do anything more than phone and text. Wallpapers, ringtones and games all cost money on this phone. I figure that this is the reason they don’t want to give us drivers for the phone-we’ll be able to customize it without their cut.

Update to being haunted….

I watched a show on TV where some paranormal investigators went to a house that was haunted, so I looked up an investigator in Miami. I found one online that had a form to fill out. I got to the second page of the form and something weird happened to the screen, and I couldn’t go any further. I emailed them telling them I couldn’t fill out the form, so they emailed it to me to fill out. I tried printing it, and had issues printing, but I fixed it and eventually printed the forms.

I attribute the issues filling out the form and the printing to the ghost.

Here’s a weird thing that just happened yesterday… I took a picture outside (there was a breeze) and the image came out like this:

ghostsmoke

There is no way the smoke from a cigarette could have made all that outside, especially with the breeze that was blowing.
