Made In The U.S.A – My Contribution

I have been screaming about SUPERTAXING import items, and so, yesterday, I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I needed to get something and I spent an extra minute looking at the “made in…” blurbs on the items. I only found one that was “Made In The USA”, but I decided to get it, no matter how expensive it was. I checked the price. It was actually the least expensive one! It was a small item, so I can’t gauge this against the norm, but I was very proud of myself.

SUPERTAX import items!!!!

I am so upset by this economy that after years of not even looking at american-made cars, I am thinking about trading in mine for one.

Gamers Solve AIDS Puzzle…

As mentioned in a previous post, if Cancer, AIDS and even something as simple as the common cold were eradicated, it would bring down the economy in this country even more so. Think about it. How much money, research, time, energy, jobs, etc are in “studying”, “trying to find a cure for” and “treating” these ailments? Everytime you walk into a drug store, you are exposed to germs and sickness, which keeps the drug store alive.

I saw an article that stated “gamers” had cracked a puzzle that had stumped scientists for decades…. IN ONLY 3 WEEKS! I will assume that this will be swept under the rug, so check it out now, while it’s still there:

Weird Al – Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me…

You don’t know how many times I have had to send a “polite” message to someone who just newly discovered email and started forwarding me spam/junk/viruses. Usually, I try to explain, “I have been online since the early-90s, so I have seen all of these forwards. Also, you’re using the TO: field, so now all these people have my email address….” I usually get a very hostile message back from whomever I sent that to. I should have kept those hostile messages and forwarded them back to that person years later.

Now Weird Al has written a song that has expressed my sentiments exactly!

Another Way To Turn The Economy Around-Penalty For Outsourcing

Bring the jobs back to this country by SUPERTAXING any company that outsources to another country. Everyone who has called technical support has gotten, at one time or another, a person who can barely speak english and found it frustrating. We need the jobs, and if a company wants to continue using other countries, they can continue, but they will have to pay a penalty. This penalty will assist people who cannot find jobs.
